An announcement from Camelot, the UK National Lottery organisers, is going
to give a few players a shock this week.

Because on Saturday 5th October, the price of a Lotto ticket will double to
£2.

However there's some benefits for the 880,000 winners each week.

Camelot will be creating bigger jackpots. They're also bringing in a £25
prize for matching just three numbers, and the prize for matching four
numbers will jump from £60 to £100.

But it's still going to hit the pockets of players hard.
