Dear Friend,
The first Thanksgiving feast in the Americas was celebrated in 1621. George Washington mentioned the idea of an official Thanksgiving celebration in 1789. In 1863, President Lincoln proclaimed Thanksgiving a national holiday.
One hundred and fifty-fifty years later, it is, once again, the season for reflecting upon how very blessed we all are to have family and friends close at hand, delicious food on the table, and wonderful readers like you, who give us the chance to live out our dreams by publishing books that are as close to our hearts as they are to yours.
Our readers are everything to us, and you truly have a place at our table this Thanksgiving season. We remember you along with all the other many things we’re so grateful for.
THANK YOU!
