When Cayla checks in as a guest, Seth can’t help but think that she’s questioning his abilities too. And she is. Because Cayla is a journalist there to expose Wilmont Lodge for its failures, after being tipped off by a source.
But when the ongoing disasters start to feel not so accidental, Cayla realizes she might have been set up and confesses the truth to Seth. Grateful for her honesty, Seth then follows up on the source that turns out to be the reason for so much of his family’s recent suffering.
