Patrick is lonely but he would never in a hundred years accept that so when the realization that married men do quite a lot better in his business than he did, he finally decides to take the plunge and get married. Making such an important choice makes him uneasy so he lets his friend do the honors of finding a bride for him.

When both Emma and Patrick meet and find that the other is far more stubborn than they could have imagined, will they somehow make it work or will all of their plans fall astray, leaving them hurt and in a worse condition than they originally were?
