After a recent bout of stomach flu, I woke up a few days later and was wondering what I could eat. I knew it had to be something light and preferably cooked. According to traditional Chinese medicine, stomach cramping is a cold condition so a regular smoothie wasn't going to work. I looked around my kitchen and remembered I had a bunch of ripe peaches. I started chopping and decided to cook them in a saucepan with water. The original recipe was peaches and water only. I pulsed it in a Ninja and drank the warm blend with no upset. As a matter of fact, my stomach felt much better. I knew I was on to something.
