This week marks the 8th anniversary of the opening of Infinite Health and Wellness. Honestly, I can't believe how quickly the time has passed.
As some of you may know, eight is my favorite number. There's something about it that keeps me grounded.
Here's a little history for you ... When I met with graphic designer, Gary Sylvester of Sly Art, to help me create my logo back in 2008, he started asking me questions about what I liked. I told him about my fascination with the number eight and that when I saw more than one, it seemed lucky to me.
He started doodling on his sketch pad and asked what else I liked. To which I replied gerber daisies. We talked a bit more and a few days later he sent over a few of his ideas.
I narrowed my selection down to two logos and after the usual amount of hemming and hawing chose the logo you've been seeing for the past eight years. I love it and think it not only represents what I want for my practice - grounding, nature-inspired, simplicity, and a little bit of magic - it's also what I want for you.

| Food Focus: Hummus and Veggie Stuffed Pita
When you're too busy to make your lunch, the inevitable happens. You either skip it or eat out. Neither of these options is nearly as good as a home prepared meal. This pita sandwich is not only delicious, it's nutritious and has plenty of protein to get you through the afternoon slump. Enjoy!
Ingredients 1 whole wheat pita bread, halved 1/2 cup hummus 1/3 cup lightly packed shredded lettuce or baby spinach 1/2 cup assorted raw vegetables such as halved cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers or avocados
Preparation
Spread half of the hummus inside each pita half then fill with lettuce and vegetables and serve.
