During the winter months, it's pretty common to feel tired. Lack of sunshine, preparing for the holidays, shopping, decorating, parties, and being less active all contribute to having less energy. But how do you know if you're tired because of all the extra things added to your to-do list or if you might, in fact, have a thyroid problem?
Some things to look out for are weight issues, low energy, lack of sleep, mood swings, and either a low or increased appetite. Independently, these symptoms may not be a big deal. But if you have two or more of them, you may want to do some research or talk with your doctor about having some tests done.
