Hi Friend,
As we transition from the warmth of summer to the crisp, cool days of fall, it's the perfect time to adjust our diets and make sure we're staying hydrated.
Tip 1: Embrace Fall Flavors
This week’s tip is all about incorporating more seasonal produce into your meals. Think apples, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and squash—delicious and packed with essential nutrients.
Here’s how you can start: Apples: Perfect for a snack or to add a sweet crunch to your salads. Pumpkins: Not just for pies! Try roasting pumpkin chunks with olive oil and your favorite spices. Sweet Potatoes & Squash: These can be baked, mashed, or even added to soups for a hearty and nutritious meal
Cooler weather is upon us, but that doesn’t mean we should slack on hydration. Staying hydrated is crucial for maintaining your health throughout the fall. Water is always best, but warming up to herbal teas and other hot beverages can also help keep you hydrated.
Here’s what you can do: Carry a water bottle: Keep it with you throughout the day. Herbal teas: Ginger, chamomile, and peppermint are excellent choices. Warm beverages: A cup of warm lemon water in the morning can do wonders.
Embrace these fall flavors, keep sipping, and enjoy the nourishment they bring. Next week, we'll explore how to boost your immune system and stay active as the weather gets cooler.
