Have you ever heard the saying, whatever you think about, you bring about? It's something law of attraction gurus talk about a lot. Athletes and anyone who wants to live a life filled with purpose feel strongly about this too.
That's why gratitude is such a powerful emotion. It puts us in the mindset of giving and receiving with an open heart and steers us away from the overwhelm that has become our lives. So what are you thankful for? Take a minute and write down what you're grateful for as we prepare for one of the most treasured holidays of the year. It's a simple task, but one that's incredibly valuable. Be thankful not only for big things, but small things too. Even if you're struggling with something right now, the act of gratitude can help give you a new perspective.
This season, I'm thankful for my family. For their love and support and all the joyful moments we have together. I'm thankful for my health and the people who have come into my life to teach me how to take better care of myself. I'm thankful for my faith which sustains me in trying times and is a celebration of my accomplishments. And I'm thankful to you - for giving me a few minutes of your precious time every month to read these newsletters.
As you sit around your Thanksgiving table this year, I hope you'll take a moment to breathe in the magic of a moment and reflect on all that you're grateful for.
Happy Thanksgiving!
