Welcome to Day 2 of the Transition phase!
How did you feel after eating the Edamame Salad yesterday? Did you try it? Today you will continue adding soy back into your diet with the Roasted Veggie Bowl with Marinated Tempeh. You’ll find the recipe in your meal plan book.
Remember to pay attention to how you feel after you eat. Do you feel bloated? Do you feel any stomach aches or pains? However you feel, jot it down in today’s action step, even if you feel symptoms hours after eating.
You’ll notice we are repeating the actions step throughout the transition phase because it is VITAL that you pay attention to your reactions so you know what to eliminate in the future.
Today’s Action Steps:
1. Continue to write down how you feel in your food journal after you add in a new food.
2. Share your experience with the group and ask others how they are feeling too.
Next Step:
• Meditate. Start with 3-5 minutes a day. Allow your body and your brain to be calm and relaxed, especially before bedtime. If your mind wanders, be okay with that. It’s part of the process. Gently bring your attention back to being present. If it helps, breathe in to the count of one and breathe out to the count of 2. Repeat.
