I hope you’ve been keeping your Food Diary, as a big part of this program is determining which foods are right for your body. If you have already noticed reactions to foods, then omit them from your detox.
If you notice you are feeling dry or constipated, make sure you are drinking enough liquid and consuming healthy oils such as flax oil, avocado oil, or – my favorite – cold-pressed coconut oil, which is great for the adrenals.
If you are having bad breath, experiencing headaches, or feeling light-headed, make sure you are eating enough protein, snacks, and staying hydrated.
Everyone is different; some people feel energized on only juice, smoothies, and plant protein, while other people on that diet will feel exhausted. I want to you listen to your own body. Tuning into what works for you is essential during this program.
