The question is, do you automatically have a new FREEBAY account because you had a Karatbars account?
And the answer is - YES.
Karatbars Affiliates will see when they log in to their Karatbars back-office, (or may already have seen if they have been there recently) a message like this:
"ACCEPT your Data being moved to FreeBay." Click this pop up to accept and you should be taken to https://www.freebay.ch/en/.
You should then be able to log in at https://www.freebay.ch/en/ with your pre-existing Karatbars username and password. You will be directed either before clicking to accept or after (sorry can't remember) to a blue link that says "PLEASE DOWNLOAD TERMS AND CONDITIONS". You do need to download these before going further or it will not let you.
This takes 60 seconds to complete. So don't ignore it! Otherwise later on you might have to go through rigmarole to get into FREEBAY. It matters not if you want to be involved with FREEBAY or not right now but who knows what they will come out with in the future. Personally, I have no interest in much of what they are doing. I may use them to continue gold purchases into the future.
You must make your own decision. However, if you, like me, want to see a valuable KBC coin in the future (KBC mark 2 post 15th october will have a new name of course), then you need to get plugged into the "Official Price Maker" Telegram channel and keep yourself posted about how to benefit from the new v999 platform (soon to be launching).
You probably hate these new age bloody apps (I know I do) but this channel is exclusively for people who want their KBC crypto assets to pay them back big time in the future. This now is where all my support questions get answered. This is where I go to stay in the loop. Everything else now is pretty much pointless commentary (just my opinion).
I keep an eye on a couple of facebook groups and this Telegram channel and that is all. The moment the new v999 platform is fully launched and the new gold stable coin is available to purchase, I am using all of the gold I have acquired over time at Karatbars to buy v999 coins. Thereafter, I will use (KBC) to buy more of them once that avenue is open to me.
It is the (KBC) coin that will be used for transaction fees on that new platform. v999 is an exciting project and it, more than anything else in the future, is where (KBC) growth is coming from.
