It appears that the important announcement scheduled for the 28th August is now scheduled for 30th August, 8pm CET (7pm UK). 

This date is now being plastered across Facebook etc. and was mentioned on yesterday's open mic zoom call so I am GUESSING that the 28th August mentioned in latest news has changed.
