Just had a Karatbars contact warn me (thanks Danny) that he received an email supposedly from Karatbars International GMBH Facebook group claiming that he had been chosen for some KBC bonus coins. This was clearly a phishing email and a scam.
We must all be very vigilant about this type of email. There is no way that Karatbars would ever email you from a Facebook page and, also, the only email you should ever get from them with a link in the email would be one you've triggered (i.e. change of password/forgotten password request, support request).
If you get ANY emails that seem to come from Karatbars with a link in that you did not instigate, at the very least - forward it to support@karatbars.com and ask them if the company generated it because you think it looks suspicious.
KBC and KCB coins are going to become very valuable assets and we need to protect ourselves with good security as best we can.
