Subject: New Research: Should your books be darker?

Hi Friend,

We continue our series of in-depth niche market studies in the Romance genre. Today, we look at "Gothic Romance."

=> Should Your Books Be Darker?

Gothic Romance is one the sub-categories that were continuously featured as one of the "Hot Cells" in our K-lytics Book Strategy Map.

On top, average sales per day for the Top 20 books in the Romance-Gothic bestseller list improved by 318% for the period from January 1016 to March 2017.

(The only other romance category that exceeded this growth was Clean Romance, which we covered earlier this month.)

One of the key questions for Gothic Romance is how much of the trend is attributable to "general paranormal romance" authors making their books a little "darker" and moving into the gothic arena...

...versus us seeing a genuine move towards "traditional, classic gothic romances."

Which of the two paths is the better strategy to seize the opportunity?

Well, I invite you to find out:

Happy publishing!
