Some fellow humans are fighting right now—for their or others' lives, or their mere existence as they just lost their job, customers, or other sources of income.
Others have been luckier. They sit at home during the lockdown, perhaps even on the cushion of some hard-earned financial reserves, and could use the time productively.
It is all too easy to fall for the lockdown blues, binge-watch Netflix, or get hooked to the endless "special coverage" of latest developments, expert opinions, fright and fear on the news channels. Don't. It will make you feel worse by the day. Stay informed, but don't get hypnotized.
If you have the luxury or necessity of writing and marketing your books these days, focus on that. It is something you can control. And getting chunks of work done will raise your morale.
Do you still have some time left? Spend it wisely: on your health and fitness, quality time with your family, learning, and your future production.
It is now that you may have the time to learn, plan, and set the direction for your upcoming projects.
