Most of you know that one of my passions is working with colour and I love doing the colour readings which provide such insight for clients! No surprise then, that this quote stirred me, and the truth of it is so clearly evident.
We only need to consider what the landscape looks like in war-torn areas where life in so many forms has been decimated and destroyed. It is a sad, lifeless blanket of greyness that prevails. There are no other palette colours visible through the grey dust that covers everything in sight. Think about the ash left once a fire has burned out, and there is no more fuel for the beautiful, dancing, vibrant flames. Quite literally, where there is no colour, there is no life. Even the apparent darkness of a night sky reminds us of the inherent life within the universe as we witness stars glowing and twinkling with flashes of red, green and blue.
If you live under perpetual grey skies (as we tend to in the UK in winter!), then grab a coloured scarf, where brightly coloured underwear, eat coloured foods and love the time to reconnect with your inner light and life.
Where there is colour, there is an expression of life itself. YOU are a living expression of the myriad colours that make up the frequency palette that is you. Feel free to express yourself through your inner language and the colours that are wishing to emanate from and through you in this moment. Put the lights up, surround yourself with the life-affirming beauty of whatever colour is flowing through you and love each and every tone/shade/tint as an external manifestation of the gift of YOU.
