Dear Friend
Hi and thank you for being here :) You matter in ways that are sometimes never acknowledged or seen by others, so I just want to let you know that your presence, your heart, your being here matters more than you know!!
Here is your simple, but powerful nugget for contemplation this week :
“Yellow.......the feeling just before you smile!"
Check out the graphics below before reading any further and I challenge you not to smile :) (two graphics this week!)
As many of you know, working with colour is an underpinning theme behind everything I work with, and of course when we talk about anything 'diamond' related, it naturally connects us with prisms of colour. Our world without colour would be grey, dull and 'lifeless' - think about suburbs with grey tenement buildings and how they appear or feel for you. Add some brilliant artistry on the walls or balconies of flowers and the energy shifts palpably.
Colour is a fundamental language that generates a multi-sensory connection and experience. You can feel colour with your eyes closed, your body responds to colour in both subtle and profound ways (note how your mouth starts watering when you think about juicy lemons or how certain colours evoke other olfactory responses for instance). Colour is a language of frequency and feeling.
Yellow is a beautiful, bright colour that supoprts us in so many ways. It not only represents happiness (the attribute most people would immediately connect with!), it also helps to facilitate learning and memory, can aid physical digestion, counters sadness and depression, instils confidence and courage, supports the kidneys and helps to alleviate stress, stimulates creativity and inspires fun (and there's always more!). Yellow is also the glow of a candle flame, a light at the end of a dark tunnel.......it reconnects us back to the light of our own being and literally helps us to feel more comfortable in our own skin.
I have used the 'Smile' and 'happiness' theme today, to also remind you that when you smile, your body also releases neurotransmitters that communicate to your body that you are happy. It literally changes your body chemistry. And when you share that smile with somebody else, it helps to shift their body chemistry as it uplifts them. It is one of the simplest, most beautiful ways to be of service 😀 When I was going through the recent surgical procedures and in hospital, it was one of the things that really supported me through a painful time. I became known as the 'in-house entertainment' as there were lots of smiles and laughter from the ward I was in.
So, have fun this week, be yellow and smile (or smile even more!). Our world needs all the lightness we can offer it. As the other saying goes "when you smile, the whole world smiles back". Let your beautiful light shine through your happy, yellow smile! 💎
In love
