Your second session of The Joy of Meditation is today, Saturday, March 27, at 11 a.m. EDT.
This is a practice session, and a great way to get your questions answered and to clear up any confusion about how to meditate.
Share you experiences.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
- Plan to sit in a chair that will support you in an upright position with your feet on the floor. If your feet do not reach the floor, find a cushion you can use that will allow you to connect your feet with the floor.
- If you prefer to sit cross-legged in a lotus posture, be sure you can be comfortable in that posture for at least 20 minutes, and sit in a way that your body will be stable and supported.
- Have a glass of pure water available.
- Set up a small alter in advance with some of these items. The only item required is the candle which I will ask you to light. The rest are optional.
~ A candle & something to light it with.
~ One or more of these items, if you so choose.
~ a crystal.
~ a vase with live flowers.
~ some incense with a holder for burning it.
