| It is the Journey team's hope and desire that you would join us in memorizing and meditating on this incredibly powerful passage of Scripture! The first chapter of Ephesians is full of rich truth about God's eternal purpose, our identity in Christ and what God's heart for us is. |

Journey Challenge Details
• Who: Anyone may participate in the challenge.
• What: Memorize and meditate on Ephesians 1:1-23.
• Why: To deepen your relationship with the Lord.
• When: January 1-31, 2018.

Daily Encouragement
As we memorize Ephesians 1 together, the Journey team also will provide daily encouragement! You can go to lifesrealjourney.com and click the link for the blog. The blog will have an encouraging word from someone who has served as a leader at a past Journey. These blog posts will correspond with the verse for the day. Since there are only 23 verses in Ephesians 1, we plan to have one day a week when we are not memorizing a new verse but instead taking time to mediate on the verses we have already memorized. A few days near the end of January will also be set apart so we can finish memorizing all the verses of the Journey Challenge. |

| Upon completing the challenge, send us a note saying you have memorized the chapter and quoted it to a parent or friend. The Journey team plans to send a small token recognizing your achievement. However, the real reward will be the treasure of God's Word hidden in your heart. Are you up for the challenge? |
