Dear Friends,
What makes a good relationship? Some may say trust, others may say communication, and still others may conclude that openness is a key to having a good relationship. Although these are all good answers that are very true, one of the most important parts of a good relationship with someone is time spent with them.
Relationship can be spelled: T-I-M-E. It is as you spend time with someone you really get to know them personally and intimately. It is the same way in our relationship with the Lord. We get to know the Lord and cultivate intimacy with Him as we spend time with Him. The well known Christian author and pastor A.W. Tozer stated it this way: |

The Journey Office is excited to announce that we are offering two Journeys in East Texas that will give you the opportunity to do just that! |

Two Journeys In East Texas!
In addition to our normal Northwoods Journeys we will be providing two Journeys in Texas, one for young men later this month and one for young ladies in May: |

The 2000+ acre Big Sandy, campus where these two Journeys are being held is an ideal place to get away from the busy things of life and seek the Lord. Young people that attend the Journey will stay in a house that is tucked away among the beautiful pine trees of East Texas and is situated off of a scenic, private lake.
Whether it is taking a prayer walk on one of the trails, spending time seeking the Lord while canoeing across the lake, or getting up early to spend time in the Word while watching the sunrise we believe this Texas location will provide a great place for seeking the Lord!

We want to encourage you whether you are able to come on a Journey this year or not that one of the most important parts of having a good relationship with the Lord is through daily spending time seeking Him and meditating on His Word.
