Journey On!
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." John 14:12
Well we're back with the Journey On! newsletter. You probably thought we had fallen off the edge of the planet, but at least you can't complain that we were cluttering up your inbox. Our hope is to maintain this at more regular intervals in order to keep you up to date on what God is doing. If any of you have suggestions or thoughts on what you'd like to keep up on please send them to us at:

The picture you're looking at has very special significance. It is the first official Journey to the Heart in Mexico! 28 young ladies went through the full ten day Journey in their own country. To say we were excited would be a very large understatement! The testimonies we heard from some of these young ladies enough to bring tears as we realized once again how much God loves us, and how much He wants us to know Him, and experience the joy, and freedom that He desires for us!
But enough of that intro, here's a first hand report!
What do you get when you mix Children's Institute, 27 American young people, hilarious skits, amazing lessons, and a trip to the other side of the globe? Why the Southeast Asia CI trip of course! But, for each person that went it meant something different! Here's some thoughts from one of the team members who learned an amazing lesson while on the last Southeast Asia trip. Ruthann's thoughts.

"A while back I went to Chiapas.... I have so many pictures from our time there. I have pictures from every place I went to in Mexico but one. It was a place that by taking just one picture it would mean confiscation of your camera...
"Stepping through the gates of the courtyard I smelled smoke. Peering into the massive doors of the church, I couldn’t see much. It was dark, really dark. As I stepped in my eyes adjusted. What I saw I will never forget. It is ingrained in my mind forever......"

September 10th - September 20th Guess what those dates represent....
The second full length Mother's Journey to the Heart!
With less than three weeks left to register, we wanted to make sure everyone was aware of this special chance for ladies to have time away from distractions, pressures, daily responsibilities, and constant busyness. The goal is for them to be reminded of the love and grace of God, and His longing to fulfill their every need, and give them life to the full!
Mothers are usually the last ones to take time away for themselves, or to spend money on themselves, so it's up to us children and the fathers to encourage our moms to go. If finances are a problem, then contact us at journeytotheheart@iblp.org, there may be some partial scholarships available.
We hope you'll spread the word about this chance for mother's, and then join us in praying that God will use this to bless and encourage all those who are willing to take the time to seek Him!
