“To say that I didn’t want to go was an understatement.” A Journey alumna recently shared that when she first heard from one of her parents that their family was going to attend a Journey to the Heart, she was less than thrilled. But God worked in her heart during the Journey week. She went on to share:

 “Praise God that He doesn’t leave us where we’re at! As the week continued, He began to soften my heart to see the reality of Who He is. His Word became alive in a way I had not experienced before. Slowly, my ‘head knowledge’ of God became ‘heart knowledge’ as I truly experienced His love by meditating on Scripture. It was a sweet time of surrender as I believed that not only is He a good God, but He is good to me.”

The Lord, in His wonderful lovingkindness, meets us where we are and takes us where He wants us to go! We invite you to prayerfully consider attending an upcoming Journey to the Heart this summer.
