Subject: Venetia Time : How to profit this November

Hello Friend

It's Venetia Time...

I hope you're having a great week, a chill in the air and winter is fast approaching. The first real sign for me that 'winter jumps' has arrived is when Venetia starts running her handicap chasers. A handful have been hitting the track in recent days, including a decent winner up at Carlisle.

With that in mind I've dusted off my Venetia 'November' angle, which I've been posting for 4/5 years now and it never fails to disappoint - well, not yet! One of these years she'll have a duffer but no signs just yet.

I've repeated the key points below but you can find and in depth look at this angle, a discussion of 'the rules', and results going back to 2008, on my blog HERE >>>

The Rules

Venetia Williams
  • November
  • Horse Aged 8 or younger
  • Beginners Chase, Handicap Chase, Handicap Novice Chase
  • Horse Runs Previous 90 Days: NOT 1
  • 20/1 or shorter SP (bigger: 0/13,1p)
  • 2008 -
179 bets / 51 wins / 88 places (inc wins) / 29% sr / +193 SP / +255 BFSP

Not too bad, last year on the blog was 5/15, +11 BFSP and I'd take that again.

There's a couple of 'qualifiers' today, as posted in the daily members' posts...

1.30 Chep – Eceparti 4/1

2.30 Chep – Brave Seasca 9/1

The first of those has a stamina question to my eyes, but will be dangerous if staying, he's very well handicapped again. Brave Seasca is in the 'could be anything' category and will be transformed for a fence at some point no doubt, like many of Venetia's. That race looks competitive enough on paper and could be worth tracking, so many unexposed types, but it will be interesting to see how he goes and just the sort of profile VW does well with at this time of year.

You can find more on the VW angle on the blog HERE >>>

The stats and trends have been doing well, my Trainer Track Profiles 'systems' have done ok since I started posting them in October...12/61,26p, +7.05

And the 'angles' have been highlighting plenty of winners also. Hopefully you're getting some use out of that report. (if you didn't grab it, yours HERE >>>

My Saturday 'ITV Trends and Trainer Pointers' have been doing well also, usually a few winners dotted around and 5 of the 10 races on Saturday were won by horses listed, those representing trainers who'd won said race previously - Nassalam, Molly Ollys Wishes, Amoola Gold, Frodon and Larry.

Fingers crossed Venetia can add to the stats fun this November,

That's all for today,

All the best,

Josh
