Good Morning,

Royal Ascot Day 1: My Blog Post, READ HERE >>>

Royal Ascot is upon us, a week where I tend to focus on my blog content and throw a few small bets around on the exchanges for fun, hoping to land on a nice priced winner or two. I don't take this week anywhere near as seriously punting wise as Cheltenham, but maybe that's because I find it so much harder!

It's a week to bet an amount where you can still enjoy the racing come late into Saturday, even if they've all tailed off! It must be one of the hardest punting weeks of the year, certainly the handicaps, but that doesn't stop us from trying! On the flip side, on paper most races have an open feel and there will be many big priced winners, and I hope you and I can land on a few of them. It is one of the best racing weeks of the year, if not 'the' best for some.

In my daily blog posts I'm listing the qualifiers against my 'trainer/jockey combos' and the trends shortlists from the nine handicaps I've focussed on, as detailed in the free report I sent out.

In today's post you can find that content, and I've had a quick whizz through the 5.05pm Ascot Stakes, with interest darts on four of my trends shortlist, at big prices. Hopefully they can give me a run for my money.

Elsewhere...

Over at Geegeez, Matt is taking the same approach to last year, where a few of us helped him preview the odd race each day, Tues-Friday, and it was a profitable one for me. For those who like a 'big read' , these free daily previews are worth a flick through.

I was tasked with looking at the G1 St James's Palace Stakes on Day 1, where I struggled to get away from the favourite but highlighted some micro angles of interest. Some esteemed blogging colleagues have attacked the other races. Worth checking out, all for free.

Tipsters Tipsters Everywhere...

I'm aware it's a jungle out there, and your inboxes are most likely being bombarded with offers and so on. However, plenty of you enjoy following tipsters, especially if they preview races and enlighten you as to why, and it's hard to know who to trust.

In truth there are not many 'tipping services' I'm willing to promote, but those on my radar, of which I trust and have a long track record of success include...

You can find out all relevant information at those links above, all three I've mentioned at various times over the last 2-4 years, all have stood the test of time in the long run. I'd generally say you won't go too far wrong with those three, for all there's the odd other one I rate also, but that's enough for today!

Sam and Mr Cotswold will be going all guns blazing for Royal Ascot no doubt, if you're after some tips to follow this week.
