Today's guest tip is from Gary over at
'Always Back Winners' - now, obviously he doesn't always back winners but he's had a very good time of it on the punting front in recent years.
He got in touch with me at the start of the flat season, having found his way onto my email list I think - and asked if i'd help spread the word about his approach and his success.
To be honest at that time i'd never heard of him! As you know i'm very picky about what and who I tell you about, as it's a murky world out there in the tipping jungle. Some very good, some ok, some bad, some just bent.
So, I asked Gary to add me into his service so I could monitor it over the summer. Good things come to those who wait! :) Like many a punter/tipster on the Flat this year he seemed to struggle at times - nothing too bad - just hovering around break even/small profit - waiting, like many of us, for that burst.
However Gary's hard work, graft and knowledge was duly rewarded with a fantastic end to the flat season, pulling in
+90 points to 1 point EW bets. (or +£900 to £10 EW) .
Winners at 20s, 7s and 16s in the last few weeks helped - that's how this game goes, and the patience of his loyal followers was rewarded.
What I like about Gary is that he's selective with 6-8 value bets per week, all advised 1 point EW, rarely dipping below 8/1. And he tips in the morning, both
access via his site, and an email sent out - none of this early evening nonsense advertising prices you cannot get.
Anyway, having had a good time of it on the Flat Turf for the last 4 years, he's now started dipping into the All-Weather. I don't think he likes the jumps! (tut!) But, for any racing fans, it's something else to keep us all occupied over the winter months.
So far his All-Weather tips are
+40 points in profit (+£400 to £10 EW bets) since the start of October. I've had access to them all and can vouch for the results, as I can from this year's turf season.
