We are in unprecedented times of inflation and supply chain challenges, to the likes of which we have never seen. Manufacturers across the globe—including Jonti-Craft—are facing skyrocketing raw material costs. This is due to shortages on raw materials, disruption in supply chains, a sharp rise in transportation costs, rising oil prices, and tariffs in the aftermath of COVID-19. In particular, the costs for Baltic Birch, the main material Jonti-Craft uses in producing products, has increased substantially over the past few months.

Jonti-Craft continues to search for new ways to resist price increases and prevent passing on these costs to you. Unfortunately, we have been forced to make the difficult decision to extend a price increase on the majority of our products. This is the first time in our company’s history—over 40 years—that we have had to implement a price increase mid-year. It’s a decision we tried to avoid and pushed off as long as we could, but after exhausting all other options to absorb the additional cost, we no longer have another choice.

We are continuing to aggressively address supply chain challenges and minimize cost impacts and shortages in order to provide you with the great value, service, and consistency that has long been a hallmark of Jonti-Craft.
