Over the past year many industries have taken a hit due to factors that are outside of their control, including tariffs, material shortages, and rising costs of raw material. In particular, the material costs for our Berries® Stacking Chair products have increased immensely since the start of COVID-19. Jonti-Craft has worked diligently to resist any price increases and find creative solutions to avoid passing the rising costs on to our dealers. However, our costs have now increased to a point where we would be unable to continue offering this product line with our current pricing. We have made the difficult decision to extend a price increase on our Berries® Stacking Chair products to our dealers. Please know that this is a decision that was not made lightly, and had to be made after exhausting all other options to absorb the additional cost.
This increase will only apply to the Berries® Stacking Chair products and we will be maintaining existing pricing on all other product lines for as long as we possibly can. We are continuing to aggressively address supply chain challenge and minimize cost impacts and shortages in order to provide you with the great value, service, and consistency that has long been a hallmark of Jonti-Craft.
