It's the witching season, and some friends and I got together to throw a big sale full of maidens, mothers, and crones! Sale ends on the 31st, so make haste!
So, as always, it didn't turn out quite as well as the professional crafter. Though to be fair, I didn't have the furniture wax or mica, nor did I have wax paints. I used red oil paint to tint some areas, and I'm still deciding if I like it or if I'm going to repaint it black and start over with actual wax paints.
If you want to try it, all you need is a bottle (any bottle), glue (or modge podge), black acrylic paint, and whatever odds and ends you have on hand (I used a feather, googly eyes, a hot glue gun, some used dryer sheets, and some brown paper from Amazon packages. Anita gives some other ideas too. I highly recommend checking out the linked post and seeing what her creations look like.
I have some more crafts I'm going to try, and I'll be sharing them in the Witch Romance Reads FB group. Join us if you want to see them!
