Subject: 🔮 May I ask a favor? (Blood Trails #0.5) 🔍

Help!

I'm working on a short story that I plan to send to all of you as a thank you for being part of this newsletter. The story will take place before Deadline, and it will be a fun whodunit with all the witchy goodness you would expect from the Blood Trails series.

I also plan to use it to lure new readers down the blood trail into my urban fantasy world (insert appropriately maniacal laugh here).

With that in mind, I need to find some beta readers for the short story who have NOT read any of the Blood Trails books. I want to gauge what readers think of and expect from the series if this is their first taste.

So, if you have a friend or family member who enjoys urban fantasy but has not yet experienced the magic, mayhem, and murder of Blood Trails, please ask them if they'd like to read this short story.

If you find someone who's interested, please have them email me at jblackstream@gmail.com with "blood trails short story" in the subject line. All I'd ask is that they read it, then answer three questions to give feedback. Easy peasy!

And of course, all of you will get it for free as soon as it's done as well :)
