Subject: 🔮 Black Friday is Coming 🔎

Deals, Bluesky, and goblins...
countdownmail.com

I don't know about you, but November has kicked me tail over tea kettle and I feel like I'm lying at the bottom of a set of stairs I just fell down trying to remember what's next on my to-do list even as I have the random thought that I should probably check for broken bones.

I could use some escapism.

How about you?

If you're nodding, then let me make it a little easier to escape.

Have a friend who hasn't started the series yet, but would love to meet Shade and Peasblossom (and the rest of their growing entourage)? Maybe say hi to the original blood princes and the lords and ladies they invited into their kingdoms? Now is the time to introduce them.

I love Goblins

If you need something to read while you're hiding from children/pets/family in the bathroom, waiting in line, or (if you're very lucky) relaxing in a hot bath, here's last year's little bonus holiday scene answering that burning question... How do goblins celebrate Thanksgiving?

Are you on Bluesky?

Bluesky is a social media site in the style of Twitter, but with a lot more customization options for what you want to see.

I'm on Bluesky now because, honestly, Facebook is pretty much just ads and posts from people and groups I don't even follow. It's depressing. And Twitter is so full of bots I'm not even sure if anything there is real or not.

Bluesky is growing at lightning speed, a lot of my friends are there now, and it's still new enough that the bots haven't figured it out yet, so I'm giving it a shot.

My posts on Bluesky will be more personal. Notes my daughter leaves me, pictures of rocks, random thoughts, stuff like that. I'll probably post when I have a new release, but not in the same way I do on Facebook. It will be more of a "I'm rewarding myself with new Post-its" post or something like that as opposed to countdown images and teasers like on FB.

I'll still post on FB when I have a new release, but other than that, I think I'm done with Zuck.

Until tomorrow, happy reading, stay strong, and remember that your mental health is just as important as anyone else's -- so turn down any invitations you don't want and don't feel bad about it.
