Subject: 🔮 Beach reads and goblins!

Thank you so much!

A lot of you have contacted me by email and on social media to tell me how much you loved Mercenary--

Especially a certain goblin.

I'm so glad you guys loved Asher. He was totally unplanned. The goblins weren't supposed to even have names, they were just people to fight. But then I thought that was cheating, I had to define what goblins were in this world. And Asher sprung from that pit of creativity fully formed. One of those characters that was supposed to appear in one scene, but then quickly took on a life of his own. You'll definitely see him again.

Admit it, you're scared.

But seriously, reviews from readers like you are how other people find and fall in love with this series. As a thank you to those who have left a review, I have a snippet from Blood Trails #6 (Note: It is NOT safe to read the snippet if you haven't FINISHED Mercenary. This is your spoiler alert. You have been warned.).

If you have not left a review for Mercenary, you can click on one of the links below to leave a review.

If you already left a review for Mercenary, go ahead and click any of the links. That will trigger the delivery of your snippet.

If you want the snippet, but don't want to review, that's your choice. If you click one of the links below, then you'll get the snippet. I have no way of knowing if you actually leave a review or not.

Beach reads! - Help me decide!

I'm going on vacation soon, so I have to stock up on proper reading material. I need your help deciding which one to start with. The options are outlined below.

I've read SM Reine before, but the Tarot Witches: Raven Knight Saga is polyamorous-romance, so that will be new. Haven't read that genre since Laurell K. Hamilton surprised me, lol.

Yasmine and Kasey are both new to me authors, but I know them from Facebook, and they're great ladies. I'm always happy when I know my money is going to someone I like instead of a faceless stranger. Of course, Kasey is giving out Reborn in Fire for free, so I'm not actually spending money...

If you've read any of these books, respond to this email and let me know your thoughts! Which should I read first?

The Silver Stag, Wild Hunt #1
Life isn’t easy when you bear the mark of the Silver Stag.

Caught between the worlds of Light and Dark Fae, Ember Kearney was born with the mark of the Silver Stag. Rejected by both her bloodlines, she’s turned her back on her people to become a freelance investigator, hiring herself to take care of common problems like hen-stealing goblins.

When Ember’s best friend asks for her help, it leads them both into a glittering world of conspiracy and danger. Angel’s little brother has vanished, and Ember must race against time to save his life. But when Ember discovers what’s happened to DJ, both she and Angel find themselves recruited into Herne’s elite squad of bounty hunters. Now, Ember must not only face her heritage, but she’s bound to preserve the balance between the Fae Courts, for if order isn’t maintained, war and chaos will spill out into the mortal realm.

Knave of Blades, Tarot Witches: The Raven Knight Saga #1
Allene Whelan is destined to topple titans. She's become a sylph: a sidhe who feeds on other faeries. Now she's at the center of a war she's fighting with her body. To gain power, she must form a cabal of men willing to feed her with sex. To survive, she must learn to navigate the deadly faerie Courts.

Reborn in Fire, Phoenix on the Rise #1
It sucks to die screaming in fire. Trust me. The last thing I expected was to wake up amid flames that no longer burn or be rescued by a sexy stranger right before my would-be murderers return.

Sexy – AKA Jake – forces my skeptical butt to admit what I’d rather deny. Death has unleashed my Elemental power to manipulate fire magic. Now I’ve got to master my Phoenix powers before I’m killed again.

Jake’s touch ignites me like flames no longer can, and he claims the same wildness that killed my mother will drive him insane if I don’t bind myself to him for life. Can I trust that Jake’s feelings won’t flash and fade? If I don’t, he’s going to lose his mind—and we both could lose our unnatural lives.
