Subject: Reasons to Be Grateful in July

For Readers

Hi Friend

Things I'm excited about this month

 1. I finished the rough draft of my novel which still doesn't have a title. The book will enter the re-writing stage in the next few weeks after I let it sit for a while. It's always a good idea to distance yourself from your story before you begin rewrites, so that is my plan.

2. I'm going to go visit my friend in Florida next week. She's been sick and I'm eager to see her and spend some time with her.

3. My kids are home from college! They graduated in May and have been home. After being empty nesters for years, it's nice for my husband and I to have them home again. It's also kind of weird to hear noises again at night, and to have to cook so much food. LOL

4. Both That Was Then and This is Now are on sale at Amazon! If you don't have your copies yet, this is a great time to order them.

I think it's especially important to find things to be excited and grateful about these days because we seem to be bombarded constantly with negative news. I try to end each day, after I feed the dogs and sit outside (in the crazy heat) to wait for them to explore and do their thing, by asking myself what I'm grateful for. Even if they are only little things. It reminds my mind to look for the positive.

So, tell me some great things that are happening in your life. Send me an email or find me on Facebook or Instagram. I'd love to hear from you.
