I am a constituent of the Senator’s <that you are calling>, who lives in _____. I work at ________ and have lived in the State for ___ years. I am calling to tell the Senator how important it is for the Senator to allow S.281, the Fairness for High Skilled Immigrants Act, to remain in the DHS Appropriations bill.
I am part of a group of more than 200,000 high skilled workers in the State that cannot obtain a green card solely because of the country of my birth.
That is discrimination – and that is why progressive Senators like Senator Harris and Cantwell (and even conservative Senators like Mike Lee, Rand Paul and Tom Cotton) all support this bill.
Please tell the Senator that this bill will help speed up family immigration. All of these people will be very disappointed if the Senator blocks S.281. Please relay our request to support keeping the bill in DHS Appropriations.
