Amazing H.R.392 News
Dear Friend,

We are extremely happy to share that Chairman Goodlatte has agreed to include H.R.392 into the Securing America’s Future Act, which is the House Republican DACA deal. By doing this, the Chairman has strongly articulated the importance of allowing H.R.392 to move forward and to ultimately receive a vote in the House of Representatives.

This could not have happened without all of your hard work in getting nearly 320 co-sponsors.

DACA discussions will continue through the month of March, and our position will be that if any DACA deal is added to the Omnibus (even a short-term bridge), we should be added to it too. Chairman Goodlatte’s inclusion of us in the DACA bill makes this possible.

Additionally, to maximize our chances, there are some items that need to be paid for in the Omnibus that we will be talking to key Members to try to get our bill used as the pay-for.

So please keep pushing your Members of Congress, and just make the point that if any DACA deal is added to the Omnibus, H.R.392 should be added too as this is what the Chairman has recognized in his bill. And say that we are happy to do our part to pay for anything that needs to be paid for in the Omnibus.

In order to pay for lobbyists, strategist, and consultants in Washington, D.C., we are having to raise our monthly contribution target. This is necessary to continue to seek advice and help so our bill reaches the finish line as we navigate the complex ways and methods of Washington.
