Subject: New Year Resolutions - Waste or Gold?

Greetings to new beginnings

A New Year is often a good time to make a new start. Truth is any day gives one a chance to make new beginnings.

I have never been a fan of the whole concept BUT I am a fan of this

- Stop doing what is not working

- Do more of what is working.

All one has to do is step back and do a review. In this blog post I borrow an idea from 4 Hour Work Week author Tim Ferriss. He really impressed me when I met him in Melbourne in 2011. He has a way of cutting through the bull and getting fully focused on what he wants to achieve.

I have pulled out the best of his methods.
- Do a review.
- List all the things that were positive and negative week by week.
- Rank the top things and schedule more of them.
- Rank the bottom things and put them on NOT TO DO LIST.

Simple really.

You will find that here https://markcarrington.com/new-year-resolutions-week-7/

The blog also details my 3 big themes for a new beginning - in my case 2019.
1. FOCUS
2. LEVERAGE
3. SCALE UP

Simple ideas really - apply them to what you do in your new beginning - starting tomorrow.

Good luck and be ruthless

Mark
