Subject: Managing Overwhelm
It pays to be honest. My 5th week (and the 6th one for that matter) was
hard. I was in a state of overwhelm.
You see I have a large army of followers on various social media platforms.
I have been using a number of tools to manage the interactions. The
platforms keeping changing the rules and the access methods. I am
struggling to keep track and I am certainly struggling to keep it personal
- i.e., social.
As a management consultant, I always use moments like these to step back a
bit and to write down the 3 bullet points. I spent some time doing that
Thinking Sales.
This is the essence of how to break through the overwhelm.
- Build awareness so that a random passer-by looks in the shop window
- Build interest so that the window shopper is poised to act
- Build the compulsion to act.
