Internet Profits has a simple traffic master plan using just One free
organic outreach channel and One paid channel.

There is a lot of training covering different examples of each. The easiest
advice is to work with what you are comfortable with especially on organic
free traffic. We are all comfortable relating to people who are like us.
That is, people who fit into the profile we fit into.

The marketing buffs call this a Customer Avatar - a profile of your ideal
customer.

This proved to be quite something of a conundrum for me. We all like to
think we are unique. Maybe I am as I was having trouble - still am -
finding people like me. I certainly could find a lot of people not like me.

The next part of the conundrum is I have some large social media networks -
I want to leverage those. They are not like me but they are interested in
things that interest me

It seems simple enough - define your customer target. I did have a go and
wrote something down. We will find in time how it all hangs together.

What I do know is this definition will become very important when I start
advertising. It is easy to spend a lot on people who are not like you and
waste it away.
