We want to be seen, to be known, to be loved and love and to matter. These are the basics of humanity.
To be seen you need to be around those who witness your feelings, dreams and sorrows through the eyes of compassion and acceptance.
To be known, you need to connect with someone and let them know what you think, believe and feel, and feels safe doing so.
To be loved requires people who respect and appreciate your unique gifts, talents ideas and the value only you can bring to them.
To love you need to respect and appreciate the uniqueness of others; to be conscious to and value the contribution they make to your life.
To matter is to be significant to someone who feels your contribution and is keenly aware of the impact YOU bring to their life.
And in order to have all of the above, you must learn and grow.
We are NOT born compassionate and accepting, able to be authentic, open and willing to share ourselves with others, respectful and appreciative of others, or to contribute to others in a way that makes us significant in their lives - WE LEARN TO DO SO.
And while we're born able to love, many need to learn to do so in spite of life's hardships and unfairness thrown at us.
We need continual growth and a commitment to expand our mind, heart and soul throughout our life. And we must choose our circles wisely as we are greatly impacted in all areas of life by the people we surround ourselves with, by the values and energy that influence us.
THIS is my vision for The Awesomeness Tribe continuity community.
A collective of women who seek to learn, to grow, to expand, to love and be loved and to discover how they really do matter.
A place to come and rest your heart and your worries, to be surrounded by love, to build and nurture relationships, to be contributed to and to learn how to care for yourself, your mind, your spirit, your body and even your home.
