June 8-10th

The upcoming Intersection Toolkit connects a set of practical tools coming from design- and architecture disciplines of many kinds to help people create better enterprises. Enterprise Design connects customer-centric business, product and service development to the enterprise transformation required to deliver. And no, this is not about running another Design Thinking workshop or learning a huge Enterprise Architecture framework by heart. Instead, this course will teach you how to use a combined design and architecture approach to give shape to enterprises.

This course will be specifically designed and adapted for:

  • Enterprise and Business Architecture Teams: learn to radically simplify the EA frameworks and tools you use today (such as TOGAF®, ArchiMate® or BPMN®) and establish links to relevant related fields.

  • Service, Product and UX Design Teams: learn how to translate your experience vision and product/service designs into actionable enterprise change.

  • Organisation Design and Transformation Teams: design for realistic enterprise change beyond the formal structure (blame chart) or ways of working

What you will learn

  • How to establish Enterprise Design as a collaborative practice with easy to use, elegant and beautiful maps for everybody

  • How to use a combined set of design and architecture tools to scale your practice to the enterprise level

  • Navigate complex enterprise challenges and co-create potential solutions using the Enterprise Design Facets

  • Identify and apply patterns to adapt your practice

  • Design brilliant Enterprise Maps that people love to use, to enable traceability between the Customer Experience Journey, Operational Business Architecture, Processes and Organisation

  • Manage your digital capabilities and IT application landscape towards the goals and overall Enterprise Design

  • Take away a model and an approach to drive innovation and transformation projects by design in your own or client organisations

  • Identify and apply patterns to adapt your practice, your creations and your behaviour to maximise enterprise impact
