And as someone who’s been doing affiliate marketing full time the past 3 years, I agree.
If you’re promoting random products on popular affiliate networks like Clickbank, JV Zoo, or Amazon Associates it is DEAD.
Here’s why …
Most people will do the methods people show them on Youtube expecting to make money...but after a few months and a few thousand dollars down the drain, they see a few clicks coming in but never any commissions.
Should I change my funnel?
Should I change my strategy?
Should I change my niche?
That’s typically when they’re faced with a big decision...
Keep trying and hope they crack the code OR move onto yet another business model and claim affiliate marketing doesn’t work anymore…
I know this because this is the experience I had when I first started online.
But I told myself I would keep trying until I got affiliate marketing to work because it seemed like the most reliable business model out there.
Think about it, it’s a multi-billion dollar industry, you don’t have to make your own product, and there’s an unlimited amount of products you can choose to promote…
And after taking all that into consideration I realized...
I need to STOP doing these overly competitive methods all these gurus show using Clickbank.
And I need to find a solid product in an everlasting niche that isn’t already too competitive.
I was DESPERATE to get my affiliate business making money...
