Today represents the day of your RE-BIRTH!
And with any new baby in the world we want to cuddle it, LOVE it, nurture it, hold it
and take the utmost care of it!
As we move along our biological path we can sometimes feel further and further
from this memory of being a newborn baby. We become so focused on the adult
tasks of life that we forget about the loving, innocent and pure inner child. This
inner child is still that LOVING, sensitive, bright-eyed being who simply wants
LOVE, to be LOVED, and to feel LOVE!
So today....take some time....at least 30 minutes to be still. Find a quiet place to rest
and cozy up with a blanket and soft music. And let your mind drift back to the
knowing of you as a newborn baby. Or think about the most recent moment you’ve
had with a newborn or a baby puppy or kitten.....What was the feeling you had?
Remember how much you wanted to simply hold and cuddle and care for this little
one....and never let go.....?
Then I want you to translate that same feeling onto yourself and imagine or feel or
see that same LOVE and nurturance surrounding you....swaddling you....letting you
know that you are safe, held and cared for.....that you are wrapped in PURE LOVE.
Allow every part of your body feel this LOVE! Soak it in! Breathe it in! Be as gentle
and LOVING toward yourself in that moment! And then notice how amazing it feels
to be this LOVING and gentle with self!!!!
Allow every word, action, thought, etc be filled with LOVE in the knowing that you are
caring for and taking of YOU....the adult and the newborn within!!! Be as gentle and loving to yourself as you would to a tiny bird.
