| Hello beautiful!!!!
I was going to message you yesterday....to send loving, mother-honouring vibes your way....and then while double-breastfeeding the boys I thought, "It's so interesting that once a year we have this ONE day that we ALL consciously honour and give thanks for the mamas in our life and receive the showering of appreciation. Then....Monday comes...and it's back to "normal"....the usual....Like a bad hangover....let-down....jet-lag after a long flight from an incredible vacation. What if the love, honour, good vibes and love could continue week after week? What if we could love and appreciate one another for the loving goodness that we add to the world all the time?!"
Soooooo....today....to continue the love-appreciation-honour-high vibe-Mother's Day I extend beautiful LOVE your way! I extend my healing hands and heart and shower YOU with soooooooooo much light, gratitude, healing and elevated energy! May you be blessed EVERY DAY!
Personally...as I reflected on becoming a mom my heart softened,
expanded, "panged" and melted all of the same time! Being a mom is one
of the GREATEST GIFTS given.....and one of the
most spiritually expansive and challenging experiences to-date!
So much joy. So
much love. And yet....soooooooooo much intensity and moments of
insanity! From hormone shifts.... to sleepless nights.... to demands on
the body, mind and emotions.... to figuring out how to best parent as
children grow (without feeling "mommy-guilt" in the process).
Our ability to stretch ourselves on very little sleep and multi-task
like no other, while still being able to prepare meals, do the laundry,
run errands, tend to self hygiene AND have the available energy to play
with the kids and fully be present to them.....is quite
spectacular!....miraculous I'd say!!! (and it all often goes unnoticed) |
| | One thing I've come to know for sure.....As women and mamas we NEED support! We need one another! We need to be heard! We need to be held!
It feels SO GOOD to hear another woman or mom say, "Yes! I get it girl! I'm right there with ya.
You are not alone. And, you can do this! You are a fantastic, strong,
loving, AWESOME mom!" The reassurance that it's all okay....You're
not going crazy! This is just mommy-hood!
And for the mom who has a big calling and purpose or the
mompreneur....we want to continue to stand in our soul's purpose! We
want to create an exceptional life for our family! We are always growing! We want something more! We want to mirror
something wonderful for our children so that they live inspiring
lives!...The exceptional! And we want to do all that while being a
great mom! A present mom!
Soooooo.....how do we do it all....without loosing our "cookies" and be supported?.....
