| Happy Spring Friend!!!! It is finally feeling like the season of renewal, new life and budding flowers here in Barrie, Ontario! How about you? How are you feeling? Refreshed, renewed, ready for new energy and SUNSHINE???
All three of us are ready for the warmth and rays of light!....and Aria's excited to see the birds and squirrels doing their spring-thing in our backyard! Although we created a wonderful, magical indoor tropical paradise for Aria for her 1st birthday!!!! I still can't believe she is already a year old!!!! Wowzers....we have a toddler now! Who is fully walking about and exploring life in new ways everyday!
She really does INSPIRE me to see the world with fresh eyes and a sense of wonder and exploration! Which I LOVE!!!!! Especially on the days when life seems repetitive, mundane or some days boring. She reminds me to pause, reset, refocus and get up and go again with a fresh perspective!

| | Here are some of the other amazing and insightful things I've learned from her.....and how we can apply them to our adult life......
- I love rearranging her toys! Aria thinks they are brand new toys, has fun exploring her "new" experience and gets super excited! For us adults, when we feel bored, stuck, restless, etc....we sometimes just need a change in scenery! We could rearrange a room, redecorate our house, go on retreat or vacation, or really go all out and move to a new location!!!! The "newness" re what we see gives us a new perspective and can inspire us and spark open the doors to creativity, new energy flow and a feeling of new beginnings (if we're not making a physical move)!
- I love watching her never giving up on anything she attempts to do...crawling, opening something, standing her babies in her doll house. For example we saw her fall countless times regardless when learning to walk....and she never gave up. She shook off the bumps and pain and tried again! For us adults....how many times have we ventured into something new and if things got rough, we fell down, felt like we failed, etc and we wanted to bail? Or thought, "Hmmmm....maybe the Universe is trying to tell me something and I should move on." And we halt the flow. YES! The Universe is trying to tell you something, "Anything worth something will come with hurdles....These are part of our personal growing pains....to help us actually and fully step into what we REALLY want!" And to help us discard the resistance and realign, refresh our perspective and then decide if we stay the course or move on. Could you imagine if we gave up when learning to walk....we'd all still be crawling!
- I have come to enjoy when Aria comes up to me, asking in her way to be lifted up after 30-40 minutes on my computer. In some way I feel like it's her way of telling me to take a break and acknowledge the amazing life right in front of me! And that all work and no play makes for a stressful and lop-sided life journey. In our day-to-day life we all can swept up in the busyness, the doing, the fast-pace life....rarely slowing down to smell the roses or appreciate the awesomeness of life all around us!
- And I absolutely LOVE her curiosity for EVERYTHING! It brings such joy to her and I when she's unraveling something, exploring something, having a new experience! For us adults....I feel it is sooooooo important to approach life with fresh curiosity and openness to learn and grow! To dive into the things we want to learn! To travel, learn how to sew, plant a garden, take a spiritual class, learn how to self heal, attend a retreat, learn how to salsa! Whatever calls to each of us! When we listen to and take the steps toward the things that call us, we're really in alignment with our soul-self....fully living....and not waiting until "someday". To a baby, there's no someday....there's only right now....today!
I feel sooooo grateful to have Aria Sky in my life and I'm open to learning from her each moment!!!!!
