Subject: Fastest Way to Boost Your Immune System!

Hi Friend  :)

How are you? Getting ready for the holiday season?! We've been in full swing....making cookies (healthy versions free from sugar!.....If you LOVE peanut butter cookies....I've shared a link below to one of THE BEST recipes!!!).......wrapping presents......decorating the tree twice (did you hear....our tree fell down after day 1?!).....and it's that time of year when all sorts of "stuff" is hitting the fan for clients (so we've been full on re being of service).

Here's a pic of our daughter, Aria (20 months now!).....right after the Christmas tree fell down....broken bulbs everywhere....we asked her to play. She found a styrofoam block and tore it a part! While cleaning up.....we could hear her squealing in delight! We looked over at her and she says, "Mommy! Mommy! Snow! Snowman!" She was tossing the bits of styrofoam into the air like snow - confetti! Totally made us laugh at the entire moment!
Ok.....so on to the immune boosting goodness! Every morning I host a LIVE Facebook Show - "Plug IN & Power UP" (https://www.facebook.com/tara.antler) and yesterday's was all about boosting your immune system! I felt called to share it here with you as I know it's that time of year when stress levels may be a little higher than normal, tons of running around and possible late nights at holiday parties....and most likely a little more sweets and treats in your diet.....

Keeping up with the lingo these days.....here are my top "health hacks" for boosting your immune system:
  • Get happy! Happy heart = healthy immune system!
  • Vitamin C - 1000-3000 mg / day!
  • Vitamin D - preferably liquid form!
  • Astragalus Herbal Tincture!
  • De-stressing activities & laughter! BEST medicine!

And....as promised....here is the delicious soft, chewy, sugar-free peanut butter cookies Aria and I made!

From: http://ohsheglows.com/2010/11/26/auntie-angies-soft-peanut-butter-cookies/
"Soft and moist, with lots of peanut butter flavour. Dip these cookies in almond milk for a delicious treat that is not too sweet. I used protein packed and nutritious whole grain spelt flour here, but you can also use all-purpose or whole wheat pastry flour too."

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups spelt flour (or all-purpose or whole wheat pastry flour)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter (see note)
  • 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
Directions: Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment or a non-stick mat. In a medium mixing bowl mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. in a large bowl combine the peanut butter, maple syrup, optional oil (see note below), and vanilla. Stir until combined. Pour the flour mixture over the peanut butter mixture and mix. Place the batter into the fridge for 30 minutes to set or simply wet your fingers and shape into balls. Wet a fork and press down onto the cookie crosswise. Bake for 11 minutes at 350F and let cool for 5 minutes.Yields 26 cookies.

ENJOY!!!!
Have the BEST day ever!!!! BIG HUGS!
