Survey Results, Articles, & Online Training
Issue #185

Hi Friend,

Recently I asked readers for feedback relating to both our online training content and frequency of communication. Thank you to all those that responded.

We have now collated all of the comments and you can read a summary of the feedback here.

In terms of the way we provide content here are the major changes we are now implementing:

1. Content Frequency.
We asked about the frequency of providing updates and it seems that there is no majority view between weekly, two-weekly, or monthly. In response, we will continue with two newsletters/updates per month but we will now post articles weekly.

Therefore, if you want weekly content just visit SparePartsKnowHow.com each week and you will see the links to new content at the bottom left hand corner of the home page.

If you don’t feel the need for weekly insight then just wait for the newsletter and we will include links to all of the most recent content (see below).

2. Content Format
We asked about choice between written content, video, and podcast. It was a close call between written and video with podcasts a distant third.

So, with every article we will now post a short video summarizing the key points from the article. The video will be provided from our YouTube channel.

Once again thanks to everyone that took the time to provide feedback.

Another Instructor-Led Training Course Announced

Last month we announced an online, instructor-led training event. This course is timed for people living/working in the Americas, Pacific, Australia and East Asia.

Due to demand from the rest of the world we are now announcing a further course timed to cover the rest of the world.

You can read about both courses here.

Keep on improving!

Instructor-Lead Virtual Class Room Training
This program will take you through the requirements for being awarded our Spare Parts Management Certificate.

This training is formally structured with scheduled modules and live online sessions. This approach ensures that all participants progress through the course at the same time. In addition, we provide online coaching, peer networking, and for those not already members, 12 months membership at SparePartsKnowHow.com.

Two options are now available to suit most (if not all) time zones.

MARCON 2017
MARCON is unlike any other conference you will attend this year. You won’t just learn by sitting in workshops and presentations. MARCON’s intimate size allows you the opportunity to collaborate one-on-one with the presenters, exhibitors and other attendees.

Join them as companies share their best practices, and information on new and emerging technologies, methods and techniques in the area of Reliability and Maintenance Engineering and Management. This conference is a forum for all — practitioners, specialists, managers, educators, students, and even the new and uninitiated.

The conference is held in Knoxville, Tennessee from March 6-9, 2017
