Issue #139
Hi Friend,
Imagine if you had access to a forum in which people discuss spare parts management issues, provide independent input, and answer questions. Imagine having access to a global network of spare parts management professionals who are working with spare parts management on a daily basis. Not consultants looking to sell to you but other professionals dealing with real world problems and discussing their solutions.
Well, if you are a member at LinkedIn you can get all this by joining us in the SparePartsKnowHow.com LinkedIn Group.
If you are not on LinkedIn, joining this global network of 300 million professionals is free so there is no reason not to join. (If you don’t know about LinkedIn, it is like Face Book for professionals but without the silly videos.)
Note however, that the SparePartsKnowHow.com LinkedIn Group is not open to everyone. We don’t allow recruitment people, sales people, non-verified consultants (who are often just sales people), or conference promoters. We also don’t allow in anyone with a profile that is incomplete (because we don’t really know who they are) or that have very few connections. All this means that our LinkedIn Group is spam free.
What we do have is a community of more than 7,000 spare parts management practitioners.
If you would like to join us, here is a link http://goo.gl/PemrKm. If you are not yet a LinkedIn member you will need to sign up first.
If you are looking for more personalized support then consider joining me with a Leadership Subscription to SparePartsKnowHow.com http://goo.gl/yM0UJg
A Leadership Subscription provides you with one-on-one support from me. Over my many years involved in spare parts management I have learned what works and what doesn’t. By leveraging my experience you can achieve your goals faster and with greater certainty.
And if you think that is just marketing spin – think again.
Recently I completed a project where half of the sites involved received post-training support and half didn’t. The sites that received support have out performed their peers by more than 120%. That’s right they have identified and implemented 120% more in savings (as a percentage of their baseline). All sites underwent exactly the same training but only half the sites received support. It is clear that the support program has made the difference.
How much would this be worth to your company?
Contact me via return email if you want to know more.
