Tanner Denney Takes First Win for B5

Feb. 11, 2014 - 2014 marks the fifth year of the JConcepts Indoor National Series. The first stop on the popular series that attracts over 300 entries per event is SmacTrac in St. Charles, MO. Team Associated has been a long-time supporter of the series and this year is no different. Though 2013 IFMAR 4WD World Champion Steven Hartson, Team Manager Brent Thielke, and JConcepts owner Jason Ruona all made attendance, it was a 1500-gram piece of equipment that stole the show: the highly anticipated and just-released RC10B5 buggy, which was also in its first major race. With racers building their kits the day of practice, everyone was excited to see how it would perform against the current group of competitors.

Feb. 7, 2014 - The Snowbird Nationals, now in its 20th year, continues to be one of the biggest on-road events in the world with over 600 entries spread across a variety of oval and road racing classes. The enthusiastic racers faced long days but the venues location near Orlando, Florida meant that there was plenty to do between heats and when racing was completed for the day.

Hofer wins 4WD and 2WD Modified in Stäfa, Switzerland

Feb. 6, 2014 - More than 140 drivers travelled to the biggest and well-known Swiss indoor offroad event in Stäfa, Switzerland. The track was fast, but the new carpet offered low traction. On Saturday, Patrick found a good setup and dominated the qualifications. Patrick is showing more and more stability at races and took the win with coolness in both categories.
