A version of the B5M that would optimize the platform to excel in classes requiring spec motors and for certain track conditions that allow the racer to take full advantage of the performance offered from reduced weight.

McBride Shines in Team Associated/Reedy Debut at the Reedy Race

Jan. 30, 2015 - The Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions is one of the most prestigious events in all of RC racing. Featuring both an Invitational class along with 2WD, 4WD Open, and Junior classes, there are four titles up for grabs. Competing in his first electric race for Team Associated and Reedy, Australia’s Kyle McBride made the 20-hour trip from Down Under to SoCal to race in the ultra-competitive open classes along with other Team Associated racers from around the United States.

Jan. 26, 2015 - The Colonel's Classic is held every January at Phil Hurd Raceway (S.C.O.R.E) in Savannah GA, one of the longest-running clubs in the USA. The race attracted 261 entries, with a large resurgance of 1:10 electric entries, resembling the events held here back in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
