We have prepared a separate subsection on our website with a special focus on visibility, information and communication in projects. For the convenience of project implementers, we have also updated a short and quick to read Communication Handbook, which will help to implement projects with minimum headache and maximum efficiency. For support and advice, please consult the Communication Team of the JTS. |

Enjoy summer with our projects While many of us are enjoying summer, 2 more projects are starting to implement their activities, which aim to preserve traditional crafts skills and transfer them for the next generation. Read more about these projects on our website. More than 2/3 of the projects approved for funding within the 1st Call for Proposals have already started implementation. Find the detailed list HERE. |

2nd Call Projects are about to start The contracting of the projects approved within the 2nd Call for Proposals will be started soon! In order to receive the funding and implement project activities the beneficiaries of the 2nd Call projects have started passing the national procedure of approval and registration of international technical assistance projects in Belarus. For support and consultations, please contact our Information Specialist in Belarus. |

3rd Call Results Approx. 70 % of applications for the total requested EU funding of approx. 26 MEUR have been admitted to the quality assessment as a result of the administrative compliance and technical eligibility check. After the quality assessment Project Selection Task Force meeting will follow in order to perform the strategic regional relevance assessment and issue recommendations to the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) on projects to be financed. The results of the 3rd Call for Proposals will be announced after the JMC meeting, which is expected to take place in the end of 2019.

Europe is YOU This year the European Cooperation Day with the slogan ’Europe is YOU’ will be celebrated on the 7th of September in Birštonas, Lithuania, at the discussion festival ’Būtent!’ (’Makes Sense!’). This festival is an assembly of people from political, business, academic, cultural, non-governmental organisations and other sectors, where they discuss the most important topics of the development of the state, share ideas and forge new collaborations. More information will follow soon.
